The auxiliary adapter converts the changer control plug on the back of JVC CD changer-controlling receivers (with option in menu to turn AUX on) into RCA auxiliary input. The cable has the circular JVC connector at one end, and RCA female sockets at the other... allowing you to connect an external audio device such as iPod, iPhone, MP3, DVD Players & Playstations etc.
